Life in SE Asia

At times life here can be very frustrating.  It is now when Facebook is closed due to some bureaucrat deciding that the people on the internet here should not have access to FB and their social network thereon.

Notice is never given before these shutdowns occur, and one is never told if and when it will resume or the reason it is shut down in the first place.  I guess in these times of radiation poisoning in Japan, earthquakes, destruction by tornado in America, or death by protesting as in Syria, the closing of a social network that really was just some fun and not very important is irrelevant, but life here is so terrific that one feels the need to complain about something.

So if I manage to find something really worth complaining about, I promise you readers that you will be among the first to know, and I’ll also promise that it will NOT be anything political.
